The Texas Cabin is an old rustic barn that has been converted into a wonderful living space. Come and enjoy the coziness of the country side along with horses, kitties, and chickens! Sunset Oaks is only 2 hours from the DFW area. Grab a bottle of wine at the local wineries, enjoy your social distancing, and let the kids run free. The cabin is your typical farmhouse cabin: it’s cozy and old fashioned! Enjoy sunsets, night sky, and seasonal wild flowers while unwinding on the porches.
Rooms:
Masters bedroom is located on the main floor and is furnished with a queen bed.
Additional "loft" room has 2 full-size beds and divider to create 2 bedrooms
About the Space:
Includes a full kitchen with a brand-new installed stove.
Charcoal grill is provided for your outdoor cooking. Bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.
Farm stay with farm animals on the property. Please be mindful and do not mess with their food, cages or waters. Do enjoy the animal and give love to them!
Shared firepit with the Boho Farmhouse (on the same property).
Washer and Dryer
5 acres of green space for running in freedom and 5 acres of woods to explore. The flowers are a must-see in the spring!!
Dogs on property bark at critters at night for added protection. We provide sound machines and ear plugs and you can lock them up at night in the laundry room that is right next door to the Texas cabin. They keeps snakes and hogs away. Plus they are the sweetest!!! It’s the country and lots of bugs live here too and dirt.
Late summer into early fall is spider, wasp and bug season and there is bug spray provided under the sink.
Located on a remote hill with amazing sunsets (we are your only neighbors). Many deer, bobcats, birds and other wildlife are often seen.
Close to Pink Rock Trail & Blue Rock Trail and the variety of trees, birds, and wildflowers!

Mowers come every Thursday starting around 10 am during the mowing season.
Toilet paper provided for 2 days and one laundry pod. If you need more basics, Nocona is 6 miles away.
